Chris Travis is not a registered architect, but an award winning building designer who first acquired his craft as a historic restoration and high-end residential builder in the Houston market. Over the past 25 years, he has served as designer and builder for many projects, working with existing structures and new custom buildings. In the early 1990's he made the decision to move his practice to the artistic haven of Round Top, Texas. The strong base of local artisans, and their attentiveness to detail, has allowed him to design and produce some of the finest work in the Central Texas region.
Brett Pitt is a licensed architect, with a wide range of work experience in Texas, the south and the midwest. His experience ranges from custom home design to $50 million mixed-use developments. With this wide experience of work, it allows him the opportunity to work intimately with the detailed needs of a home owner, or focus on the macro needs of a highly complex masterplan. With his varied experience, he has had the opportunity to understand and work through the driving factors of many project types, which most project-specific architects never realize.
With this unique combination of talents and experience, it allows the partners of Sentient Architecture to provide their clients with exceptional design and the ability to turn that design into the built reality.
